Love is in the air in February .. book love that is. If you are looking for a new genre, author, or series to fall in love with this year, get ready to go on a Blind Date with a Book. Expand your reading horizons and enter to win an Andover Public Library tote filled with treats (mug, yummy cookies, tea, and more).
How the Blind Date works:
- Your matchmaking Andover Public Library Staff select a variety of titles. The books will be wrapped and labeled with some details about the genre.
- You can either call ahead and pick up your “dates” curbside or schedule a browsing appointment to select them yourself. (Browsing appointments are Monday through Friday beginning at 11 AM for 1/2 hour.)
- Inside each “date” is information to submit a “Rate your Date” entry form. You may try out multiple dates, just commit to reading at least the first 100 pages. Entry forms must be returned or submitted online on or before 11:59 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021
- The winner will be drawn on Monday, March 1, 2021, and contacted via phone or email.
Rules:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have a current Andover Public Library card in good standing.
- Entry forms must be returned or submitted online on or before 11:59 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021.
- The winner must be able to pick up the prize at the Andover Public Library in Andover, Ohio by 6:30 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021.
- Enjoy your dates! This is not a rule, per se.. more of a hope.
Ready for your Blind Date read? Give us a call at 440-293-6792. The library is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM for curbside services. In-library browsing appointments can be made daily for 1/2 hour from 11 AM to 6:30 PM.
