March Meowness Art Event

Calling all cat-loving creatives! It’s time to unleash your inner feline Picasso for March Meowness!
Whip up a photo, drawing, painting, sculpture, or any paw-some art featuring your furry friend for a chance to snag some meow-nificent cat-themed prizes! We’ve got goodies for all ages, so get ready to show off your cat-tastic creations! The lucky winners will be plucked from the hat (based on age group, of course) on April 1st. Get your whiskers twitching and let the creativity flow!
Art submissions will be accepted from February 24 – March 8, 2025

Types of March Meowness Art Event Submissions accepted:
2 Dimensional Art • Some examples are, but not limited to:
- Photography
- Paintings
- Drawings
- Coloring pages
- Collages
- Embroidery
- Quilted item
3 Dimensional Art • Some examples are, but not limited to:
- Sculpture
- Modeling
- Carving
- Clay Modeling
- Craft Pottery
- Fabric Art
Rules and Guidelines for the event:
- This event is open to all community members.
- The submission must portray a cat or cats.
- Submissions must be family friendly. Library staff will determine what is “family friendly” if any questions arise.
- Community members of all ages are welcome to submit their art work.
- One submissions per person.
- Submissions may not exceed 12″w x 12″h x 12″d
- Art submissions will be accepted from February 24 – March 8, 2025
- One winner in each age category (0-5, 6 – 11, 12 – 18, 19+) will be drawn at random on April 1, 2025. There is no judging for this event.
- Submissions must be picked up by 2 PM on Saturday, April 12th or they will be disposed of. Prizes must be picked up by April 12th.
- Photo submissions may be entered online using the form below if you desire. Library staff can print out the photos to display.
- All other entries will fill out a form when dropping off their submission.
