Netflix’s Wednesday, directed by Tim Burton is the most popular show on that streaming service in the world at the moment. I completely understand this. I binged the show over the Thanksgiving weekend and I am eagerly waiting for the next season.
The show is a darker take on the Adams Family’s daughter, Wednesday Adams. Wednesday is enrolled in the outcast academy, Nevermore, after an incident at her “normie” school where she harms some bullies. (Warning, this show is DARK. There is blood.) Once at Nevermore, Wednesday begins to investigate a series of murders. Her fellow classmates include werewolves, sirens, vampires, and a whole slew of other supernatural teens.
The show inspired a Young Adult Display, of course! Here is a list of titles in our catalog that I felt give a “Wednesday” vibe. These are fiction titles, mostly Young Adult. If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment!
