Genre of the Month – Cozy Mysteries

Cozy mysteries, also referred to as “cozies”, are a subgenre of crime fiction in which sex and violence occur off stage, the detective is an amateur sleuth, and the crime and detection take place in a small, socially intimate community. 

These are considered fun reads by many of our library friends. The storylines involve a lot of puzzle solving and are usually fast-paced with tons of twists and turns. Some of them include recipes that tie into the story. Fun and delicious!
