Again! The six ICAN Libraries are challenging our readers with the 100 Book Challenge. Due to its success in 2016, many patrons are asking that we do it again.
Andover Public Library Registration for the 100 Book Challenge will begin in late in December, after the Library's Santa Open House December 14. You can pick up your Andover 100 Book Challenge Log Book when you Register and start reading and reporting January 2018. You can also print it out from "Electronic Media" on this website! Just click Electronic Media on the right of the front page. You have one year to complete the challenge, returning the Log Books no later than January 8th, 2019. The official time to be reading and counting is January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
The 100 Book Challenge is open to everyone age 8 and upward. You can read fiction, non-fiction and full length graphic novels. You can also listen to books on CD and E-Books. Magazines and short comic books are not allowed for the tally.
Readers who complete the 100 Book Challenge will be honored with a Gala Event during National Library Week in 2019 (April). Pictured are some of the winners of 2016. OHIO AUTHORS are featured in the 100 Book Challenge for 2018. Readers are asked to acknowledge in their Log Books any Ohio Author they read. There will be a link on the Log Book directing readers to a web listing of Ohio Authors by name and by book title.
