News : Reading Garden Glowing as Summer Approaches
By Susan Hill, Library Director
05-31-2017 01:27 PM

April 22 a group of wonderful Friends of the Library celebrated Earth Day by helping weed and spread mulch donated by Valley Veneer (and delivered by our loyal Library Friend Floyd Huff). Andover Bank donated a lovely flowering crab named "Sparkling Sprite" which we planted in our Memory Garden for Mary Jo Orahood, Former Director of the Library. Thereafter, the Pymatuning Garden Club members, spear-headed by Patti Smith, re-vitalized and re-planted the Garden Club garden. It is now glowing with colorful flowers. Thanks you to all of the wonderful community-minded helpers who have devoted time to our wonderful garden!
