Canine Partners for Life (CPL) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to training service dogs, home companion dogs, and residential companion dogs to assist individuals who have a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities.
This informational and educational program will include a service dog demonstration and discuss the role of the service dog for persons with disabilities, the rights of a service dog, and the proper way to interact with a service dog.
Roderic Showers is a liason between the Albion Prison (where the puppies are raised) and Canine Partners for Life. Roderic will be bringing a puppy in training to the program.
